What We Do

Here at Flatrock Whitetail Deer Farm, we specialize in raising long-tined, wide frame, typical whitetail bucks that have "The Look."  We are a smaller operation, choosing to improve our genetics while focusing on quality, not quantity.  We firmly believe we have the ability through our deer to help establish a developing line or solidify a current genetic line.

Our Business

Whitetail Deer have always been a passion around the Sangl household.  I have been a deer hunter from my youth and have always admired these magnificent creatures. 

Both of my sons also share this passion for hunting and we would find ourselves visiting a nearby deer farm every Fall to view the magnificent antlers of the bucks on the farm.  We would then talk as we went back home about how we would love to be able to walk out our door everyday and see that quality of bucks. 

 So in the Fall of 2004, we decided that we would do just that - we would raise Whitetail Deer.  We built our own pens and started with 4 bred does in March 2005.
